What Is a Yellow Fever Certificate and Do I Need One?

Yellow Fever is a serious viral infection spread by mosquitoes in parts of Africa and South America. There’s no cure – only prevention.

The International Certificate of Vaccination (the yellow card) is an official document proving you’ve been vaccinated. Some countries require it for entry. No card, no entry.

Countries that commonly require it include: Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Uganda, Brazil, Colombia, Bolivia.

One dose, valid for life. No boosters needed.

Yellow Fever vaccine can only be given at designated centres. HealthPoint Pharmacy is registered at both locations. Cost: £90 (single dose, certificate included).
